New Vision was birthed as Emmanuel Youth Ministry (EYM) in 1992 under the direction of Pastor Wilner Maxy and Sister Cecile Lauriston. EYM served as the English ministry of our mother church, Haitian Emmanuel Baptist Church.

Pastor Eric Remonvil is the pastor of New Vision Emmanuel Baptist Church. He was recently ordained as a pastor on December 2021 and installed as the third spiritual leader in New Vision’s rich history. He is completing his Master of Divinity degree at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in New Orleans, Louisiana. Under his guidance, New Vision has continued the mission to look up to God, look into His Word, and look out for others. This is evident in his unique style of delivering God’s word to our unique, multicultural congregation. Pastor Eric finds it an honor and privilege to serve the church from which he was born and raised. He is living proof that God can use anyone in service to the Kingdom. Pastor Eric is married to First Lady Landers Remonvil; they have four beautiful children together.
