We felt it was essential to invite licensed mental health professionals to pour into the lives of our women. Take a moment to get to know these incredible specialists and the powerful journeys that brought them here.

Sophia Loubeau-Griggs is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Florida, California, Georgia, and Oregon, with over 30 years of experience in school-based services, clinical practice, and community mental health. She currently serves as a Clinical Grant Facilitator, where she mentors and supervises graduate-level social work interns, placing them in Broward County Public Schools and guiding them in the development of trauma-informed, culturally responsive practices. A proud daughter of Haitian immigrants, Mrs. Loubeau-Griggs draws strength and purpose from her cultural heritage, which instilled in her a deep sense of resilience, community responsibility, and the power of collective care. Her identity informs every aspect of her work, helping her bridge cultural understanding with clinical expertise.

Dr Chrissy Justilien is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the South Florida area, founder of Nourish Moi Therapy. She also received her Ph.D. in Marriage and Family Therapy from Nova Southeastern University, specializing in family dynamics, women reproductive issues and maternal health. She enjoys partnering with individuals who are seeking to amplify their joy and fulfillment in life. Dr. Justilien supports women through the transformative phases of pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum, specializing in maternal mental health and women reproductive health. Whether you are navigating challenges or simply striving for personal growth, Dr. Justilien is here to guide you with empathy, understanding, while furthering your thinking.

Dr. Chrissy Justilien (LCSW, MFT)

Dr. Magda Demerritt, LCSW-QS was born in Miami, FL. Dr. Demerritt attended Florida International University where she earned her master's degree in social work. In May of 2021 she earned her Doctorate degree in Social Work from Walden University. Dr. Demerritt established her mental health practice in 2013 and currently provides care and treatment to individuals ages 12 and up who present with an array of mental health challenges including trauma, anxiety and depression. Dr. Demerritt is certified in child welfare, trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy, and trained in crisis management interventions as well as trauma incident reduction. In addition to education and development of Social Workers, She is sought after for her ability to communicate in plain terms the importance of mental health wellness to the Haitian community and local churches.

Marjorie Lozama is a dedicated and accomplished board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner with a Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) from Barry University. As the founder and president of The Couch Comprehensive Mental Health Wellness, she focuses directly on addressing the mental health needs of adult patients with various psychiatric disorders. Her multilingual and multicultural background empowers her to provide exceptional, patient-centered care, which includes brief psychotherapy and psychotropic medications when necessary. Marjorie is certified as a brain health trainer by Amen University and specializes in guiding her patients toward achieving work-life balance and successfully overcoming anxiety, depression, trauma, and grief. As a licensed Qualified Rehabilitation Provider for the State of Florida, she also holds Certifications in Disability Management. grief and Christian Counseling. Marjorie exhibits true leadership as a community servant, dedicating countless hours to significantly enhancing the lives of those around her. Marjorie is resolutely committed to collaborating with organizations to promote awareness, advocate for the reduction of stigma surrounding mental health, and establish sustainable mental health care access both locally and in her native country, Haiti.

Dr. Majorie Lozama (DNP, MSNEd, APRN, PMHNP-BC)

Evangelist Mirielle Archange Gordon is a certified Christian counselor, marriage coach, and behavioral analyst. She is the founder and operator of Mimi Inspirational Christian Counseling Services, where she ministers healing by guiding clients toward emotional and relational wellness through sound biblical principles. She is an active leader and participant in several women’s communities which includes: Sister’s Keepers, a Facebook group where women share uplifting thoughts and ideas; The Power of Praying Women, a community rooted in prayer, biblical teaching, and shared testimonies, and so much more. Evangelist Gordon is also an author. Her book, The Ministry of Marriage: Set Up for Failure, has been used by ministries across various states as a resource for premarital counseling. She is currently preparing to lead a month-long Bible study on Christology, focused on exploring the life and ministry of Jesus Christ. Additionally, in June, she and her team are organizing a 7-day evangelism revival across the nine cities of Clayton County, Georgia. This initiative seeks to share the knowledge and hope of Jesus Christ with communities throughout the region.

Mirielle Archange Gordon (ВСВСС)

Mucanie Joseph is the owner of Journey to Healing Therapeutic Services LLC. She is also a Master’s Level Certified Addiction Professional (MCAP) and Qualified Supervisor in the state of Florida. She has over 10 years of experience and is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Grief Therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Mucanie has worked in the mental health and social services field for over 20 years. She has experience working in multiple program settings and with diverse populations. She has provided medical case management services to HIV/ AIDS clients in the RW program, mental health and group services to forensic, psychiatric clients, mental health, supportive, and other services to at-risk youth and their families, care management services to clients with severe and persistent psychiatric disabilities and co-occurring substance abuse disorders, and psychological care services to children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. Mucanie’s approach and focus involves empowering individuals to contribute to changes in their environment.

Dr. Pierre is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) practicing in the state of Florida. Born and raised in Cap-Haitian, Haiti, she migrated to the United States at the age of 16, where she pursued her education. She obtained a Ph.D. in Family Therapy from Nova Southeastern University. She earned a dual Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Barry University.. Dr. Pierre is a Clinical Fellow and an Approved AAMFT Supervisor with the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy. She is also a Board-Certified Qualified Florida Supervisor and humbled to be awarded the Top 20 under 40 Young Haitian American Professionals (YOPRO) award for her achievements. Dr. Pierre is the Clinical Director at Ellie Mental Health. She is the owner of Balance Therapy Institute and an experienced clinical administrator with expertise. Dr. Pierre serves as the 1st Vice President of Pearls of Life Women's Foundation, Inc., and also carries out her duties as an Adjunct Professor in the College of Psychology at Nova Southeastern University. Dr. Pierre is a passionate educator; she remains passionate about educating and empowering her community. She is a devout servant at Sinai Haitian SDA Church in Plantation, FL, where she serves as the clerk and hospitality director.
